* Should have first hand experience as an online learner
* Should have good knowledge of the internet
* Should be able to dedicate at-least 2 - 3 hours every day reading and responding to students.
* Should have ability to correspond and interact one to one with students
* Should have lots of patience
* Should be able to use both synchronous and asynchronous modes of interaction. (Synchronous modes include chat, video conferencing etc and asynchronous mode include mails, discussion forums etc.)
* Should be able to delegate and correct assignments and provide feedback
